Opened on 27 Dec 1926 and closed sometime in the late 1950s. This view is taken from Manor Park. As a kid I went inside once whilst it was a fruit and veg warehouse owned by Uglows. I recall all the seats and fittings still in situ at the time. The building was demolished during the 1970s and is now the site of a Kwik - Fit tyre and exhaust workshop and offices. << back
