Earlier this year, a consultation took place to replace the Manor Park children’s play facility. Local residents were surveyed and children form St. Michael’s Junior school and Manor Park scout group were also part of the engagement process. This summer, five companies were tasked with developing designs based on the feedback and ideas submitted.
This month, people are being asked to give feedback on the designs proposed which can be found on the link below:

£100k has been secured from developer contributions, and there has been an application for funding from the Landfill Community Fund(VeoliaTrust) for a further £50k. It is hoped that after the feedback on the designs have been submitted at the end of September, a decision will be made and if all funding is in place a new playground will be completed by April 2017.
