Rotunda church

The church is unique in being built octagonal in shape and is one of ther more unusal buildings in the town. Brick construction with slate roofing. There are eight seperate foundation stones, four facing Victoria Road and four facing Albert Road. All the stones bear the date 22nd March 1876. On the Victoria Road side three were laid by Mrs. Samuel TERRY, Mr. William ALDEN Esq., and Mr. W. FRANCIS Esq., of Ramsgate respectively. The Albert Road side were laid by Mr. William  MASSLEY, William BEECHWORTH, of Leeds and R. D. CATCHPOLE, of Reading. The remaining two stones are chipped and defaced. As far as I know all the buildings here have now been demolished
