Planning Applications Discussed 6th December

At our Christmas meeting on 6th December at Empire there were two planning applications that members were particularly interested in.

 

Wellington Centre Car Park Development

Concerns were raised over the proposed development on the Wellington Centre for 43 dwellings over loss of car park space and the overall design as it can be seen all round the town centre.

52 Victoria Road

Presently occupied by Talbot Design Ltd., this new application to demolish the business premises and replace with 56 apartments with basement parking.  Concerns raised over the design “looking like an office block” were heard at the meeting.
